About Us
The Low Studios is a welcoming creative space in the heart of East London’s independent music community. Our aim is simple: to provide an affordable, high-quality environment where artists can write, record, experiment freely, and develop their music comfortably and without pressure.
Founded by producer and engineer Frankie Worrall (they/them), the studio has grown around a community-led approach to music making, with an emphasis on collaboration, care, and creating an atmosphere where artists feel genuinely supported in their work. We care deeply about cultivating a space that feels relaxed, respectful, and welcoming to people from all backgrounds and experiences, particularly those who may not always feel fully at home in traditional studio environments.
Our approach to production is collaborative and artist-led. Rather than taking over the process, we work with artists to help shape their ideas, explore creative choices, and bring their vision to life in a way that feels true to them. We’re also mindful of access needs and are always happy to discuss how sessions can be made more comfortable and workable where possible.
Alongside running sessions from the space, Frankie has spent the past decade working across London’s independent music scene, supporting artists through writing, recording, mixing, and finishing their releases.

The Low Studios operates in partnership with London-based record label The Low, founded by Frankie alongside their friend and collaborator Verbz.
Together, The Low provides a home for Hip Hop, Alternative, and Electronic music, with a focus on artists who push the boundaries of these genres and approach music with individuality, openness, and creativity.
