Mixing & Mastering at The Low Studios

Mixing and mastering bring a track into its final form, shaping balance, clarity, and depth so it translates confidently across listening environments while preserving the character of the original recording.

Whether your music was recorded at The Low Studios or elsewhere, the aim is simple: a finished record that feels cohesive, intentional, and ready for release.

Meet the Engineer

Mixing and mastering at The Low Studios is handled by Frankie Worrall, the studio’s founder and engineer.

Drawing from influences across hip-hop, soul and alternative music, Frankie approaches mixing with an emphasis on musical feel, clarity, and preserving the natural dynamics of a track. Rhythm sections are often treated as the foundation of a mix, aiming for punch and forward momentum while allowing space and atmosphere around them to create depth and movement.

Mixing is approached as both a musical and spatial process, shaping how elements sit across the stereo field, frequency range, and depth so each section flows naturally and feels connected from start to finish.
